Hi. I have gotten back into to playing X-Wing recently and just discovered there's a new edition. I only have the resistance era starter pack from the first edition. (The one with the T-70 and two TIE/FOs). Is there anyway I can convert it to be used with the new rules and stuff without having to buy the conversion packs?

It would probably be too much work to be worth it; many upgrades and ships now have charges or different pilot abilities, and every ship's token has a "bullseye" mark as well as other additional markings not found in 1.0.
It would probably be better to get 2.0 packs if you only have three 1.0 ships, although I have heard you can still use the shield, focus, and evade tokens for the 2.0 stuff.
