Dagger Squadron was a starfighter squadron that served with the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. The first unit to be equipped with the then-experimental B-wing starfighters, they were activated and sent into combat by Admiral Gial Ackbar in a last-ditch effort to save a unit of Rebels that had become trapped behind Imperial lines.
