Hey, remember the X-Wing series of video games from the 90s? I didn't, but while trawling Wookieepedia searching for TIE fighter variants to homebrew, I came across the TIE experimental line, which was essentially supposed be a series of droid TIE fighters. I immediately knew this was to be my next project. Statlines are of the following form [Pilot Skill, Attack, Energy, Agility, Shields, Hull]. I am not really sure how to price these, beyond the fact that none of the titles should have a cost, as the ships are built to be used with them.
TIE/M1 - TIE Bizarro [5, n/a, 2, 3, 0, 3] {Hardpoint} (Evade, Target Lock, Barrel Roll).
-Title Hard Target: TIE/M1 only. Whenever you roll evade dice, you may reroll any focuses or blanks you get.
TIE/M2 - TIE BigGun [5, 2, 3, 3, 1, 3] {} (Evade, Barrel Roll, Mobile Firing Arc)
-Title Linked Turbolaser Cannons: TIE/M2 Only. You may spend energy to incease the number of red dice rolled at a 1-2 ratio. If you do this, you recieve an ion token.
TIE/M3 - TIE Warhead [5, n/a, n/a, 3, 1, 3] {2x Missile} (Target Lock, Reload, Barrel Roll)
-Title Compressed Missile Batteries: TIE/M3 Only. The reload action does not give you a weapons disabled token. When instructed by an upgrade card to spend a blue target lock token, you do not need to discard it.
TIE/M4 - TIE Bomb [5, n/a, n/a, 3, n/a, 1] {} (Boost, Barrel Roll, Evade)
-Title Explosive Payload: TIE/M4 Only. The first time this ship makes contact with an enemy ship, it detonates. Detonation: The target must roll 3 attack dice and suffer all hits and crits as critical damage. All ships at range 1 must roll 1 attack die and suffer any hits or crits as critical damage. Then discard this fighter. If this ship is through any other means, all ships at range 1 roll 2 dice and suffer any damage.
TIE/M5 - TIE Boost [5, 2, n/a, n/a, 3] {} (Barrel Roll, SLAM, Evade)
-Title Booster Engine: TIE/M5 Only. When you SLAM, your manuver may be of any speed equal to your current speed or less. In addition, you may "spend" speed to change your direction. (i.e. Perform a speed 3 right bank, then SLAM for a speed 2 straight or right turn, or a speed 5 straight, then SLAM a speed 3 turn).
Beta-class ETR-3 Escort Transport [4, 3, n/a, 8, 6] {Elite (sometimes), Cannon, 2x Crew, System, Team, Torpedo} (Focus, Target Lock, Coordinate) Large Ship.
Title TIE Experimental Prototype: TIE/M Only. You may equip a second title with this (not the TIE experimental v2). You gain the Focus Action. You must be deployed with a friendly Beta-Class ETR-3 Escort Transport. If it is ever destroyed, your pilot skill becomes 1 and you may not perform actions (exception: the TIE/M2 may rotate its mobile arc, TIE/M3 may still aquire a target lock, and the TIE/M5 may still SLAM).
Title TIE Experimental v2: TIE/M Only. You may equip a second title with this (not the TIE Experimental Prototype). You do not get stressed.
